WHAT IS WRITTEN FOR YOU WILL FIND YOU
In a world full of rushing, chasing, and constant comparison, many hearts are drowning in anxiety fear of the future, fear of failure, fear of missing out. But Islam teaches us a powerful truth that brings peace to the restless soul: What is written for you will never miss you, and what is not written for you will never reach you.
This is not just a quote it is a fundamental pillar of faith known as Qadr (Divine Decree). Believing in Qadr means trusting that everything happens by the wisdom of Allah, at the right time, in the right way.
NOTHING IS RANDOM IN YOUR LIFE
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Know that what has passed you was never going to befall you, and what befell you was never going to pass you.”
Tirmidhi
Every delay, every tear, every unanswered prayer, every test, and every blessing is a page from the story Allah wrote for you long before you were created. Allah says:
“No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before We bring it into being.”
Qur’an 57:22
This means your provision, your health, your spouse, your success, your failures all were written 50,000 years before the creation of the heavens and earth.
RELAX YOUR HEART ALLAH IS IN CONTROL
When you truly believe in Qadr, your heart becomes calm. Because you stop chasing what was never meant for you and start trusting Allah’s plan.
Didn’t get the job? Allah saved you from something unseen.
A proposal didn’t work? Allah replaced it with something better sooner or later.
Your plans failed? Allah’s plan is still perfect.
You lost something or someone? Allah will compensate you.
Allah never takes except to give. He never delays except to prepare. He never tests except to elevate.
TAKE ACTION BUT TRUST THE DESTINATION
Belief in Qadr doesn’t mean you sit and wait for life to happen. Islam teaches balance:
Tie your camel put in effort, work hard, plan, and strive.
Trust Allah know that after your effort, the result is in His Hands.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Tie your camel first, then put your trust in Allah.”
Tirmidhi
So don’t use destiny as an excuse for laziness. Work with faith. Act with trust.
WHAT WAS WRITTEN FOR YOU WILL COME AT THE RIGHT TIME
Sometimes what you think is a delay is actually preparation. What feels like rejection is redirection. What seems like loss is a test of patience before a greater gain.
Allah says:
“Perhaps you hate something and it is good for you, and perhaps you love something and it is bad for you. Allah knows, while you know not.”
Qur’an 2:216
Your heart will only find peace when it stops fighting what Allah has already written.
HOW TO STRENGTHEN YOUR BELIEF IN QADR
Pray Istikhara Ask Allah to guide your decisions.
Recite daily duas for trust and contentment.
Stop comparing Your journey is written differently for a reason.
Accept and move forward Dwelling on the past steals your future.
Believe in Allah’s promise He is with the patient and the grateful
CONCLUSION
What is meant for you will never require you to compromise your faith, beg for attention, or lose your dignity. Allah will bring it to you in a way that protects your heart and strengthens your faith.
