NEW WEEK, NEW NIYYAH: STARTING MONDAYS WITH BARAKAH

Mondays may feel heavy for many, but for a believer, every new week is an opportunity. A chance to renew intentions, start fresh, and realign our hearts with the purpose Allah created us for.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “Actions are but by intentions, and every person will have only what they intended.”(Bukhari & Muslim). This powerful reminder shows that barakah begins not in the size of our deeds, but in the purity of our niyyah.

As this week begins, reflect:

  • What do I want Allah to bless in my life this week?
  • Am I dedicating my daily routines—work, study, family—to His sake?
  • How can I make space for Qur’an, salah, and small acts of kindness?

Even bigger goals, like saving for Hajj or planning for Umrah, start with sincere intention. Just as each step of the pilgrimage brings a pilgrim closer to Allah, every intention you renew this week brings you closer to Him in your everyday life.

🌿 Begin this Monday with gratitude, clarity, and renewed faith. May Allah fill your week with ease, blessings, and accepted deeds.
