BREAKING: SERIKI MUSULUMI OF YORUBALAND, YEKINI ADEOJO PASSES AWAY

 

Tears and tributes are pouring in following the passing of Chief Yekini Adeojo, a highly respected political elder and traditional leader, who died Friday morning in Ibadan.

 

Chief Adeojo was a towering figure in Nigerian politics, serving as the former Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). A founding member of the PDP in Oyo State, he played a pivotal role in shaping the party’s influence in the region.

 

Beyond politics, Chief Adeojo held the revered title of Seriki Musulumi of Yorubaland, symbolizing his commitment to faith, tradition, and service to the Yoruba people.

 

He is the father of Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo, the current Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government.
