GOV ABDULRAZAQ JOINS KWARA MUSLIMS FOR IFTAR
Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq joined Muslim faithful at their local mosques and ancestral homes in Ilorin the state capital for iftar (breaking of fast) during Ramadan 2025.
Some of the areas visited by the Governor before he traveled to Saudi Arabia for Umrah in the last ten days of Ramadan include Idi Idigba, Adeta, Gambari, Baboko, among other communities.
The Gov was represented by Special Adviser on Special Duties Alhaji AbdulRazaq Jiddah at Adeta Roundabout Mosque, Adeta, Ilorin.
The Governor also broke fast with people living with disabilities where he distributed food to the Muslim scholars, women, youths, children and other underprivileged Kwarans as part of the efforts of the state government to cushion the effect of the prevailing economic hardship.
Governor AbdulRazaq was represented by his Special Adviser (Special Duties), Alhaji Abdulrazaq Jiddah, in some of the communities where the sponsored iftar took place.
Gov AbdulRazaq was also represented at Koro Afoju Mosque, Gambari, Ilorin.
The communities showered prayers and encomiums on the Governor for his kind gesture to the good people of Kwara.
Imam Isiaka Alfa-Ebo of Idi Igba Mosque expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRazaq for consistently making time to return home and connect with his family.
He prayed to Allah to bless him with good health and greater wisdom in leading the people and the state.

Leading the prayers, Imam Abdullahi Ibrahim of Koro Afoju Gambari mosque beseeched Allah to grant him sound health and more wisdom in the leadership of the people and state.

The Governor who is currently in Makkah for Umrah hosted some fellow Kwarans who are also performing the lesser Hajj in Saudi Arabia, to iftar.
It was attended by some state and federal lawmakers, cabinet members, and other dignitaries from the state, including the House of Representatives members representing Ekiti, Irepodun, Oke Ero Federal Constituency and Asa, Ilorin West Federal Constituency Hon. Raheem Olawuyi Ajuloopin and Hon. Mukhtar Tolani Shagaya; Hon. Maryam Yusuf Aladi; Senior Adviser and Counsellor Alhaji Saadu Salau; Commissioner for Works Engr. Abdulquawiy Olododo; former Minister Jamila Bio; Ambassador Yahya Seriki; and former House of Representatives candidate Abdulsalam Abdulkadir.
