PHOTOS: SAUDI ARABIA STRENGTHENS HAJJ, UMRAH TIES WITH BALKAN NATIONS

Saudi Arabia Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfig Al-Rabiah, recently concluded a tour of Balkan countries: Albania, Kosovo, North Macedonia, and Montenegro.

During this tour, he met with leaders and Umrah company officials to discuss improving the Umrah experience for pilgrims from the region.

Al-Rabiah emphasized Saudi Arabia’s commitment to facilitating Hajj and Umrah for Muslims worldwide, highlighting initiatives under Vision 2030 to enrich the pilgrim experience.

Key meetings included discussions with Albania’s President Bajram Begaj, Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti, North Macedonia’s Parliament Speaker Talat Xhaferi, and Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the trip also included the launch of the Nusuk platform in Albania and signing an air transport agreement with Kosovo. These visits aim to strengthen international cooperation and align with the Pilgrim Experience Program, a Vision 2030 initiative to enhance the pilgrimage experience for all.
