Authorities in Saudi Arabia have announced on Monday night that the Hajj pilgrimage for year 1441AH (2020) will hold but for a limited number of pilgrims of different nationalities who are already resident in Saudi Arabia.
The announcement was made via the official Twitter handle of the Government of Makkah Region that hosts the Masjid-al-haram.
The statement added that the decision was taken in “concern for the security and safety” of pilgrims and their hosts.
